Six Month Smiles, Invisalign, and ClearCorrect

Are you thinking about straightening your smile?

There may have been a time when people could just sit and wish they had better smiles, but we don't live in the medieval ages anymore.

Now, thanks to modern dental technology and equipment, we can make any smile look amazing in 12 to 18 months.

Invisalign's clear plastic aligners are a popular choice for teeth straightening, especially compared to traditional metal braces. Invisalign corrects your teeth by gently positioning your teeth into their desired position.

How Long Does Invisalign Take to Straighten Teeth?

The answer is, it's hard to tell. Every patient has a unique smile, just like their fingerprints. There are so many variables that go into play that determine how long Invisalign will take, like the severity of your case, your existing oral health, and more.

Typically it takes 12 to 18 months, but it could take more or less depending on your smile needs.

Factors That Cause Variation

  • Overly crowded or protruding teeth, the more crowding you have, the more your teeth will need to be positioned
  • Spaces between teeth may need more time to close
  • Invisalign is great for older teens and adults, but older adults might have slower healing and straightening effects
